Pediatric private duty & home nursing · Chicago pilot
The right nurse for every home, found in hours.
Nurses keep their skills and availability current. When you have a patient to staff, you search who can actually cover the case, shortlist, and send a case brief. No job posts. No chasing.
For agencies staffing RNs, LPNs and CNAs. Nurses never pay.

Illinois approved $306 million in home care for medically complex children in one year. Only $115 million was delivered, amid an in-home nursing shortage.

How it works
You bring the case. Tendora brings the nurses who can cover it.
-
1
Enter the case
Schedule, area, role, required skills, pay and care needs. No patient name or address.
-
2
Search who's available
See nurses who cover the full window, hold the right state license and have the skills, ranked by fit.
-
3
Send a case brief
Pick your shortlist. Nurses reply interested, ask a question or decline, usually from their phone.
-
4
Hire and orient
Interview, offer and collect orientation documents in one conversation. You stay the employer.
For agencies
Built for staffing one patient at a time
Live availability, not resumes
Search by the exact care window, including overnight and recurring shifts. Profiles that haven't been reconfirmed drop out of search.
Licenses checked against the patient's state
Illinois isn't a compact state, so Illinois patients need Illinois-licensed nurses. Ineligible nurses never reach your shortlist.
Pediatric skills you can trust
Trach, vent, G-tube and seizure care, each marked self-reported, document-reviewed or agency-assessed.
Case briefs nurses actually answer
Pay and schedule up front, one-tap replies, and an outreach cap per case so nurses aren't flooded.
Hiring to orientation in one place
Track every nurse from brief to ready: interviews, offers, Health Care Worker Registry checks and orientation documents.
No double bookings
Credentials and calendars are rechecked at confirmation, so two agencies can't confirm the same nurse for the same night.
Patient privacy
Patient details are revealed in stages
A child's information should reach only the nurses who need it, and only when they need it. Every view is logged, and notifications never carry clinical details.
The case brief
Role, schedule, pay, general area, age range and required skills. No name, address or diagnosis.
Clinical detail
Diagnosis and care plan, once the nurse is interested and signs a confidentiality acknowledgment.
Identity
Name, address and family contacts, shared by your agency when you move the nurse to interview.
Pricing
One subscription. No placement fees.
Plans differ by how many nurses each case can reach. Nurses always use Tendora free.

Questions agencies ask
Is Tendora a staffing agency?
No. Tendora is software. Your agency hires the nurse, sets pay and supervises care. We help you find and recruit them.
How is this different from posting on a job board?
Job boards wait for applicants. On Tendora you search nurses who already cover your case's hours, area and skills, then reach out directly.
How do you protect patient information?
Patient details are released in three stages, every view is logged, and notifications never include clinical content. We sign business associate agreements with agencies.
Which roles and areas do you cover?
RNs, LPNs/LVNs and CNAs, starting in the Chicago area with pediatric private duty and home nursing visits. More metros follow the pilot.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Plans are month to month, and your records stay exportable after you cancel.
